my BB 9900 is displaying S.O.S all the time and no network detection

I cannot understand why my BB 9900 is not getting any signal although the network is there.

any idea. I have update the OS software , but I still having the same issue.

The sim card could be loose inside the sim tray.
Remove the battery and remove the sim card and try re-insert making sure its not moving.

If problems still happen you can try using the Blackberry Analyzer test

Options > Device > Advance System Setting > Blackberry Device Analyzer > Cellular Network connections Issues.

are u sure the BB device analyser is in advance system settings  for BB bold 9900.

I just check I could not find it

If you are currently on OS 7.1 you can enable it.
