I have tried every thing to make this darn screen work. I have pulled the battery and that works for maybe two days. I have tried back up the phone and that works for maybe two days then nothing. Is there a more permanent fix available? This is a relatively new phone (bought in april last year)

Could you provide more information please about the issue you are having with your touchscreen so we can better assist you? Are you receiving any error messages? Are you experiencing screen lag or freezing? When you backed up, did you also reload your BlackBerry Device Software? How much free memory is available on your BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone?
