my email address and bb app world icon

I just changed my BB to a bold 9900 airtel nigeria as the carrier when I activated the phone and try restoring my old bbm contacts remotely by using my email it replied back that my email is not linked to any blackberry messenger and I was able to activate same email on my device which my mails I can read and send. Secondly I try upgrading my BB app world next the icon disappeared from my screen. Please how do I go about these issues some 1 help me out. Thank u
