need help to get rid of GEJites messaging

[ Edited ]

Someone please help me.  I am not able to get rid of this terrorist messaging.  I receive it 4-5 time a day.  It comes in a red message.  It is not in my text messages and it is not in my email messages.  I have replyed with STOP but I get them more often after.

Re: need help to get rid of GEJites messaging

Everyone in this thread... on your BlackBerry go to Options > Security > Firewall.

Set the Firewall to block all SMS messages that are not from contacts in your Address Book.

Or you can get a standalone SMS blocker like CrunchSMS to do this.

Hey, I get these too and I can't stop them with the firewall either. I think this is becasue it's coming in as a 'peer-to-peer' message and not a normal BBM message. I wish Blackberry would nuke their PIN number.

Besy of luck to us all.

Re: need help to get rid of GEJites messaging

Well, yes it does. Tell your Firewall settings to block all PIN messages NOT in your Address Book.
