Hello, I had the same problem or even worse. The new software fail to start. I installed version 6 again but still no working. So I have no DM software at all. BB guys please help

first uninstall the BB 7 version. And uninstall the V6 version as well. Delete manually after finishing this action - if it has not been removed by the uninstall programm - the folder c:\program files\research in motion.

After that reinstall version 6 from the BB DM site.
