new to mac, and cant sync!

hey,

i am new to mac, my first one ever, and i am having trouble figuring out how to sync my ical, contacts, etc. i have tried to find out using the apple site, and this site, but nothing seems to explain things a newbie can understand, lol. 

any help that you can offer is really appreciated!

Hello serahhaggerty and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

 

You can download the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac from www.blackberry.com/mac. You need Mac OS X10.5.5 or newer and device software 4.2 or later as well as iTunes 7.7.1

 

I would suggest backing up your BlackBerry before you get started - just to be safe!

 

From a first time user experience - when you sync your data for the first time, it does ask you to replace the BlackBerry data with the Mac (and it says recommended) or asks you to merge. If all your data is in the Mac, then you can replace, however, if all your data is in your BlackBerry you want to merge.
