no sound on handset speaker during call

Hi, actually may device fell off my hand and hit the floor. After then I discovered the handset didn't make any sound when I tried making or receiving calls. However, I could hear sound when I put it on speaker or used the earpiece. Please note, I have done battery pull several times; sometimes I have to wait for 30 minutes or more before putting the it back. What could be the problem? This is so frustrating. I need speedy response. Thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

From your description, I would deduce that the fall caused something inside to break. But, proper diagnosis of hardware issues is, of course, impossible at an internet distance. I recommend you find a local (to you) qualified hardware technician and see if they can provide you a proper evaluation.
