not charging

my equipment,a tour 9630 RIM,recently fell into muddy water.i have battled hard and have now revived it but the charging port refuses to perform which means i cant connect to my pc via usb.there is nothing i have not tried yet i keep getting the same message anytime i try to charge or connect to my laptop - the charging source connected to your phone cannot charge your phone.i will appreciate any advice.

I would take it in the shower with me and make sure I've got all the mud washed out of it real good.

Hi,

It sounds like your device charging port is damaged, which is hardware issue. If you have any authorized service center near by then you may consider visiting there. But there is little hope for you.
