Accepted Solution

not recognising my password on ID login

I have set up an ID account and have used it when i first got my BB 9300 a few weeks ago but now I cannot get the login to accept my password on either my BB or the laptop. even when prompted by the security question it will not accept it and keeps locking me out !!

It wont let me reset it and I cannot get Blackberry to reset it as I cannot speak to anyone on the phone because there are no apparent numbers !!!!!

I have tried rebooting and taking the battery out all to no avail !!

I am really frustrated now and getting angry with it...BB are losing out as I cannot purchase any applications !!

PLEAS

Re: not recognising my password on ID login

Given what you describe, I recommend that you find your original welcome email. In that, there is a link to use to delete your BB ID. Use that and then re-create a new BB ID using the exact same email address. This will re-link your prior purchases.

Sometimes things just go wonky and starting over is the only way to fix it.

Good luck!

Sorry for the delay, but was there some additional information you intended to relay?

Ummm...still a blank post...hmmm...since you've marked the thread as solved, I guess we'll just go with that. Good luck!
