partial emails on 9360 curve

I've had my curve for 2 months without incident. I sync 2 gmail accounts on my BB. Since three days now, I am receiving partial emails, with the last part obscured by a checkered pattern. When I choose options, see more or all of conversation, the checkered pattern is still there. Any suggestions?

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

 

After you've rebooted, give the device about five minutes to settle down all the initial data activity and then check you email again.

I had the same problem (partial email received, chequered display).  I followed the tip posted previously and this fixed the problem:

1) With blackberry switched ON, removed battery

2) Wait a minute or two

3) re-insert battery

4) the blackberry will automatically turn back on and reboot itself

5) once reboot is complete, the problem was gone.
