password retrieval

I'm trying to re-validate my e-mail. I remember my username but not my password. When I enter my username in the forgot passwrd screen it says my password has been sent to my device. Where on my blackberry do I find that password?

Re: password retrieval

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

If I am interpreting your post correctly, it is your BIS account credentials that you are having trouble with. As such, I suggest contacting your carrier as they control that account. The "lost password" message should have arrived in Messages...if it did not, then something is amiss, and your carrier controls the account.

Good luck and let us know!

Re: password retrieval

This is what happenend. I recd email telling me I had to re-validate my hotmail account to continue using my blackberry for that address. I went to e-mail set up on blackberry. It asked for username and password. I put in my username but could not remember password. Clicked on "forgot password" and entered my username. It went to another screen and said it sent my password to my device. Problem is I don't know where to find where it was sent??

I understand. This is your BIS account credentials that you are needing to enter...not your HotMail credentials. BIS stores your HotMail credentials, but BIS has it's own credentials that you must successfully enter in order to re-validate what it has stored for HotMail. As I said above, your BIS account is controlled by your carrier...contact them.
