A decade later, the CrackBerry community is as active and passionate as ever and I know our knowledgeable members and volunteers will be excited to welcome and assist more BlackBerry owners with their questions."

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
If I am interpreting your post correctly, it is your BIS account credentials that you are having trouble with. As such, I suggest contacting your carrier as they control that account. The "lost password" message should have arrived in Messages...if it did not, then something is amiss, and your carrier controls the account.
Good luck and let us know!

I understand. This is your BIS account credentials that you are needing to enter...not your HotMail credentials. BIS stores your HotMail credentials, but BIS has it's own credentials that you must successfully enter in order to re-validate what it has stored for HotMail. As I said above, your BIS account is controlled by your carrier...contact them.
