pictures not showing up in media/pictures folder

Hi there, new blackberry user.  I have taken a few pictures with my Bold 9700 and the have shown up in media/pictures/all pictures.  Not sure what happened, but now when I take pictures, I can only view them if I explore and go to the pictures folder.  How can I go back to viewing all pictures?  Any help for a rookie?

Re: pictures not showing up in media/pictures folder

They should still be available when you go Media>Pictures.  Did you change he store pictures option?  Both the device memory and media memory have picture folders.

You should be able to go Media>Pictures>All pictures

Re: pictures not showing up in media/pictures folder

I didn't change any settings.  The pictures are there when I explore and go into media/blackberry/pictures, they just don't show up in media/pictures/all pictures

Re: pictures not showing up in media/pictures folder

Same thing is happening to me. I haven't changed any of the settings. One day it just stopped showing pics on the main folder and would only show up if I "explore" them.

Re: pictures not showing up in media/pictures folder

Hi,

I had the same problem and I did this....

Took out the battery, and the memory card, and then put it back and switch on the phone again, and everything goes to normal. You can see the new photos in the folder all pictures.

Re: pictures not showing up in media/pictures folder

yes, i tried the same, but if you take another shot,, it will not show again, and you should do the same steps again, which i think is not a practical way to solve such problem, this is silly and boring. Any other suggestion which should be practical Waiting any help for this B.Regards Roda

Re: pictures not showing up in media/pictures folder

Just Remove the memory card, wait for 10 secs  and put it back.

No Need to remove the battery and reboot the phone.

It worked for me Smiley Happy

Re: pictures not showing up in media/pictures folder

I had this problem with a BlackBerry Bold 9930 after installing and uninstalling a Screen Capture application.  Pulling the battery did not fix the problem.  Removing the battery and the memory card and waiting and reinserting the memory card and the battery seems to have solved the problem.  Any idea why this problem occurs and why this procedure fixes it?
