previous owner number removal

hello everyone,not sure if i am on the correct page.i purchased a used blackberry storm2 and is unable to remove the previous owner's number from the phone.it keeps popping up each time i turn the phone on.he doesnt know either.how can i remove it???

Which service provider is this device on?

 

Storm2 9550 or 9520?

Go to Options -> Advanced Options -> SIM Card - click Menu button and select Edit SIM Phone Number.

Unless it is a 9550 on a Verizon or another CDMA carrier, then that ^^ won't work.

 

Which is why I asked... 9520 or 9550?

And what service provider?
