Re: printing

Well, it's not easy, because quite frankly SMS text messages were intended to be electronic, not printable items.

But there's hope.

  • Backup your device to your PC using the BlackBerry Desktop Software. Then use a PC app named MagicBerry from MenaStep to extract your SMS messages to a simple database file on your PC, like an excel spreadsheet, and print them from there.
  • Find an on-device print application for your BlackBerry. This is likely the more complicated method. http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/search/print?lang=en

Re: printing

It won't harm your PC as long as you are downloading it from the official vendor website (MenaStep).

If you are downloading from some rogue distributor, I don't know. Don't.

Otherwise, you are fine.

Re: printing

If you've downloaded MagicBerry, install it to your PC now and follow their instructions for extracting your SMS from the previous backup data file.

From the database you extract, you will print.
