problems with gps on BB 9500 storm

In the past days I`ve had serious problems using the gps on my BB 9500 storm:  updating my position in the advanced options my coordinates are not calculated and obviously telnav doesn`t work either (it gives a message "gps signal two low") most of the times I try.

Could it be a software or hardware problem? What option could I have change that have given these problems to the GPS system of my device?

Has it worked fine in the past?


With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.


On all model BlackBerrys, first make certain that you in an area of good signal coverage AND outside with a clear view of the sky in an open area of no tall buildings.

For GSM network devices, do this:
Click Options > Advanced > GPS > Menu > Refresh GPS.
Give it up to 10 minutes to refresh, and try 2-3 times in a row.
