question about "power saving " magnet

this is my first post here, sorry if this has been asked before.  but i noticed that my storm seems to work better after i stopped using a case with a magnet in it.  the screen used to become unresponsive, it would not react to my touch.  but that hasn't happened for a couple of days.

any thoughts?  thanks

Re: question about "power saving " magnet

Odd. The case saves the battery life and sets the BlackBerry to sleep.

Look at Options > Security > Memory Cleaner. Do you have that enabled?

Re: question about "power saving " magnet

Having it enabled would slow your device down (if Memory Cleaner is running) from "awakening" possibly.

If  it is not enabled , it's not the culprit, don't worry about it.
