Replaced my Bold 9900 1-2 months ago. Whenever I restart it, I get a message on the screen that says, "The backup file is corrupt. If possible, create another backup file and try again, or choose another restore option." I do not believe this has anything to do with the regular backup I do of data several times a week. I never had this message on my previous Bold. Am afraid I'm going to lose something valuable. Help!

Just to clarify are you receiving this error on the BlackBerry Bold 9900 smartphone or in BlackBerry Desktop Software? Are you able to create a backup successfully in BlackBerry Desktop Software?

I am having the same issue. The error message comes up on the device whenever I reboot it (such as after updating an app). The Blackberry Desktop Software works fine and backs up the device with on problem.
