"Not enough memory to complete upgrade . . ."

" . . . Delete 160kB of personal data and resume upgrade"

Trying to run wireless upgrade to the operating platform.  Can anyone help with what "personal data" means?  I am showing

5MB free space in Application memory

870.7MB free space in Device memory

7.3GB free space on Media card

So I don't get it.  Moreover, I have deleted two applications and much (backed up) content from the media card in order to free up space, yet each time I resume upgrade, the message reappears, with the XXkB of data to be deleted just dropping by a few kB, even though I have deleted many hundred megs

Any help?  Thanks

Re: "Not enough memory to complete upgrade . . ."

You may try deleting some old sms text messages and emails.

Open your message icon, you can manually delete some.

Also you can see how long they are stored.

From the messages, click the BB menu button and click on "Options"

In "General Options", scroll down to "Keep Messages:"  try lowering that to a shorter time.

15 days is the least.
