I allowed my Torch 9810 to "upgrade" itself this morning. Now it is locked up. It is stuck on this screen: "Backing up your data", where it has been, on and off, for six hours, at 2% complete. I have done two hard and two soft reboots. When it re-boots, it shows the startup screen, and you can see it has changed, and it shows the update is complete, and it also is asking to confirm the time/date, but in front of that, the phone is "locked". When I unlock it, it jumps to that Backing up your software screen and stays stuck there. Help!

Try to force detection (backup if possible) and reload the device software again using the following process: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB10144
