Actually, it turns out that the Curve is not compatible with Desktop Manager 4.6. I called Verizon Wireless and they walked me through the issues. So I am running 4.3 instead and it's working for the most part.

Glad you have it running.
Just FYI DM 4.6 is compatible with all BB smartphones and may users are happy with it.
But go with what works or you!

I've made a number of videos demonstrating the "fixes" all to no avail.
I've been battling this for far too long and still no resolution.

Just stumbled across this potentially useful site.
I have been unable to sync successfully for about 6 months thru DM due to this error.
i guess this one has "stumped the band" !!??
