reading Blackberry files backed up on computer

My Blackberry died when it got dunked in water. I have a backup phone that is not Blackberry. I am just trying to read my backed up files on my computer--specifically so that I can read my contacts. Is there a way to do this without having another blackberry phone?

You can use MagicBerry by MenaStep to extract your contacts from the IPD backup file to an ASCII or xls file.
