recently updated Curve 8900 - now no mouse pointer to close agreement

I recently updated to the 5.0 bundle.  After it all installs and the phone reboots, there is a RIM agreement that needs to be closed in order to get to the main menu of the phone.  Unfortunately, the mouse pointer has disappeared, and therefore cannot click on the "OK" at the bottom of this agreement.  I know my mouse is working as I can hear the clicks when I roll the ball, but no pointer.  Any ideas?

I have also tried working around this by restoring to a previous version, but still no luck.  Same software agreement appears, and still no mouse pointer.

Did you try to press the Return key to accept any options in the agreement screen?

Then what?

The return key does not work either.  I was hoping blackberry would have had a workaround posted on this situation.  I can't believe I am the only person with this problem.

I did take my phone to T-Mobile,but of course their response is that I need a new phone.  Anything to make a sale.

I have the same problem with my Blackberry bold 9650. Key pad doesn't allow me to do anything. driving me crazy. I have also deleted all info on the phone and reinstalled the current software, with no luck.

Does the keypad actually works?
I mean, can you check it is not broken?
What does it mean exactly "key pad doesn't allow me to do anything"?
Os version?
