Re: recovering memory after moving files to Media card

It's been many years since I was a programmer, but wasn't one of the features of Java that it did automatic garbage collection?  I guess there are ways to break that if you don't follow the coding guidelines.  And anyway when I wrote Java programs, I was working on UNIX platforms, which didn't suffer from the sloppiness of Windows systems.

Re: recovering memory after moving files to Media card

Hi All,

Today unfortunately I did a mistake.

I format my media card from my blackberry device.

Is there any way to recover the media card data again?

Thanks in advance for cooperation.

Re: recovering memory after moving files to Media card

Sorry...your files are gone. Depending on the type of format it might be possible to recover files with special software. That kind of data recovery is beyond the scope of this forum, though.

Re: recovering memory after moving files to Media card

Its not that its outside the rules...there is special software required that only "might" be able to recover the data. Its costly (usually) and often doesn't work.

I would google for options to recover deleted files. The problem is you "formatted" the disk and many of those options won't work. There are companies that do this type of data recovery but it can cost hundreds of dollars.
