.rem file extension

I have two ringtones on my Blackberry Curve 8530 which I would like to update to my new IPhone.  They seem to have an .rem file extension which prevents you dragging it into Itunes.  Is there any way around this, seeing as that I paid for both these files and would like to continue using them?  Any help would be great!  Please and thank you.

Re: .rem file extension

Thank you for your help.  Unfortunately it didn't work.  I'll keep plugging away.  It's like they protected these files with Titan force.  Just burns me since I paid for them.

I also found this link:

Not sure it will apply to mp3 files, but give it a shot.
