Recently my phone(torch9800) began malfunctioning, it seems to lock and unlock itself whenever it chooses and also it freezes up alot. Aswell as this when in use it overheats now i checked the website for support and have addressed issues on why this could be but it continues to do so. I have taken my phone to my local network provider and all they insisted was that the phone be sent away, however i rely on my phone for work and as i did not take the insurance out they could not issue me with a courtesy phone. I was wondering if there was anything you may be able to do ? its not as if i want a new model phone i jus want my model phone what works properly as im only 6 months into a 20 month contract

I agree Vodafone should give you a warranty replacement and they are the one to make that call on a warranty replacement. I'd press it harder with them.

If they dont budge on this though is there nothing that blackberry can do ? as in send me a replacement model a friend told me she had issues before where blackberry sent out the handset but you would keep the battery out of your old phone .
