In my haste of setting up, I cannot remember my blackberry ID password.  I have tried the "forgot password" function, but cannot remember the answer tot he bogus question I entered. After trying hundreds of possibilities can this be totally reset somehow?

Re: reset password on blackberry id

You want to reset the the reset? Hmmm, no.

If you can go back and find your ORIGINAL welcome email from BlackberryID, there will be a unique link there to click and DELETE that BlackBerry ID, at which time you afterwards, you can recreate it using that email address.

Or, you can create a new BlackBerryID using a second BlackBerryID.

Either way, you ought to make your secret question something you will remember.

Re: reset password on blackberry id

I deleted the email, so that's not going to work.

I tried creating a new ID and will not take same email address for an additional ID.  I will try later using the wife's email address.

If you think of anything else, please let me know.  Looking at some of the posts, it appears there is no phone support from BB.  So there is no one to call to just flip a switch?
