ringtone or alert for forwarded calls

Forgive me if this has been addressed already, as I could not find the post/thread.  I am a phone dork, so be easy on me!  I frequently forward by business phone to mt BBB. I need to know how to distiguish between a forwarded call and a call coming direct to my cell.  As it is, it shows me the phone # that is calling, but I cannot tell if the call was placed to my business or to my personal #.  Please help. Thanks all.

Re: ringtone or alert for forwarded calls

I don't believe there is any way to do that.

And, it is understandable that it is not possible, since you have the forwarding set on the other device or number.

Re: ringtone or alert for forwarded calls

Darn, my 4 year old AT&T promo phone would do a little "ba-donk" and then ring with a forwarded call...very helpful.

Thank you for the reply.  Much appreciated.

Re: ringtone or alert for forwarded calls

I bought a Blackberry 3 days ago moving away from a trusty old Nokia. I went for the Blackberry because they rave on about how user friendly it is for business and yet it doesn't have this ultra basic feature.

I'm about to return the phone because it is worthless to me without this and movng back to Nokia.

A complete disappointment.
