saving data

i need to replace my handset due to faulty earpiece.how do i go about doing this please

I already replied you in your other question. Use the BlackBerry desktop software - you can back-up all your contacts and other stuff, then guess would be no problem to load it on a new phone.

But personally I use BlackBerry protect. No idea if it's available for your phone, but you could try. And the desktop software will do it anyway I guess.
