security key

Hi guys, I've recently upgraded my Bold 9790 to OS 7.1 which enables me to use my cell as a Wifi modem. When I connect to my computer however, it requires a "network security key" before I can connect. According to my service provider it's a password I've selected on my device, but this don't ring true. Please help.

Hey Stickyfinga,

You can set different security types for your Mobile Hotspot Connection,  the available options are None, WEP, WPA2 Personal and WPA/WPA2 Personal. Please review the following article that provides information on how to setup and manage a Mobile Hotspot Connection: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB31857.
