My last blackberry I had got stolen.. and I was like "ok.. i wanted to get a blackberry curve anyway" so i ordered one on ebay... (not my best idea ever) but the last one that i ordered was for at&t.. and it worked with my tmobile sim card anyway.. I guess its too late now since i already won my bid.. but i am realizing this is an AT&T curve as well.. can someone please tell me if it will work w/ my tmobile card? or any suggestions how it can be rigged to work? i am a big fan, but tmobile overcharges people for the blackberry unless they are signing a contract. I sadly have been under contract w/ them for years, so they are saying i have to pay near 400 dollars at the store for a blackberry curve... HEELLLPPPP.
The phone is usually locked but sometimes you could buy it unlocked on line so if it is, you will be able to use it no problem. If it is locked, you will need to get on line and find a site where you could buy the code along with the instruction to unlock it. It should cost around 25 dollars or so. they will give you a number and instruction to how and where to enter it. once you did that, the phone will work with T-Mobile no problem. good luck.
Each "partner" (ATT, TMobile, whatever) releases the Operating System level that they want to release and when. So, you might want to get in synch with the TMobile OS level. You should be able to download it for free.
