i lost my blackberry torch at university last month. I contacted my network provider and they blacklisted the phone. However, my friends recently told me that my pin is now in use with a different display picture and personal message. Therefore, i can only assume they unblocked the phone by changing the IMEI number (which is illegal) . Is there any way i can track my phone by using my pin. I still have proof of purchase including the box with the IMEI number and BBM pin on it. I did not previously install any software on the phone . All answers are highly appreciated

If you have no third-party tracking software, such as the free BlackBerry Protect installed on your phone, you have no way of tracking and recovering your phone. Sure, your carrier CAN do it if you provide your PIN (and perhaps the IMEI as well), but they won't. Contacting them and suspending the PIN should have done the trick right there. I'd be getting back on the phone with them to find out what was (or WASN'T) done.
I hope that helps you.
