I see you posted this yesterday, did the update complete? If no, did you receive any error message? For example:
Update could not be completed or BlackBerry Desktop Software cannot communicate with the connected device.
Let me know and we can see if you can help get this issue resolved.

No error message, and when I unplugged, the tablet was still functional.
Could be that I was using a bell stick for internet, as I'm in the boonies...
My work VPN gets kicked out all the time when working from home.
I'll try again once I'm hooked up to REAL hi-speed.
