torch - help, please

I can not delete messages...  I've tried deleting prior and it's not working and also individual message delete.  What do I need to do to fix this issue?  And I'll need simple instructions, please..  thanks!

Re: torch - help, please

I've noticed this happening on my device as well as and far as I know there's no fix for it yet.

I thought mine was related to an application I have installed called BerryMail that allows setting of rules on certain messages of senders.  Not sure if it that's the cause of my issue.

You should find, though, that if you reboot your device (via battery pull), those messages should be gone once the device reboots.

Have you tried that yet?

Re: torch - help, please

I just did a battery pull and most of the messages deleted.  The ones that did not delete, are all messages from Facebook.  AND, those messages are "dim" looking and still won't delete???

Re: torch - help, please

For the Facebook ones, you'll need to go into the PC version and delete those messages from there.  I think that will take care of the ones on your device as well (which may require another battery pull).

Re: torch - help, please

I'm sorry.....I meant to go into the Facebook app on your device.  Do you have Facebook installed on your device?

Re: torch - help, please

The inability to delete *some* Facebook messages is known issue.

You can sometimes delete them one by one, but more often they are not deletable when deleting as a group.

Re: torch - help, please

I've tried deleting single messages... I'm down to only a few messages that will not delete on FB and they are "dim" looking and won't budge!

Re: torch - help, please

Try going into the Notifications and Messages sections and deleing anything in those folders.

As JSanders said, though, this is a known issue and my suggestion may or may not work.
