touchscreen unresponsive

Every so often my touch is completely unresponsive. Even right in the middle of using it. I can only use the touchpad and slide out keypad. I have tried pulling the battery and re booting numerous times. I have tried adjusting the sensitivityn etc but have had no luck.
Any help?

You could try to perform a clean application load of the BlackBerry device software, to do this see the link below:

Make sure you test before restoring any data to your device.
