trackpad is not working.!!

hello!! i have bold 9790.. and my trackpad is not working..i was transferring some media file from my laptop via data cable..and when i removed it . probem occured..i am able to click it...please help

Have you tried a Battery pull restart yet ! Please do it by removing the Battery while your device is Powered On , wait for a min then reinsert it back , after reboot please check again and see if it works .

 

If problem persists then remove those applications or media files from your device which you recently transfered , it might help .

My trackpad and touch screen has stopped suddenly while i was not doing any media ttransfer. i did all suggestions like hard boot etc but the situation is same.

i cant do anything on my device.

Have you recently installed any application before this Problem started ? Think carefully !

 

If you have then try to boot your device on Safe Mode , On Safe Mode delete any application which you think might be responsible for this issue , from Options > Device > Application Manegement > locate and delete any newly installed 3rd party application , it might help in resolving your issue :

hi.. i ve checked n not found any reason. chkd thru destop mngr also. i cant touch the screen n cant drag d track pad too. i cant even wipe bcoz some disclaimer is covering d screen now.

Please refer to this Thread regarding your issue , try to follow those suggestion :

If problem persists then contact your Service Provider and get your trackpad replaced .
