after a hard drive crash, i reinstalled the BB desktop manager from the RIM site and also reinstalled Microsoft Outlook from the original installation disk. I backed up the data that was in my BB device and then set up the sync with Outlook to sync one way from the device to Outlook (which was now newly installed and empty).. The contacts, tasks and memos synced fine, but the calendar ONLY synced recurring appts (like birthdays) and wiped out ALL other appointments from the device calendar. I was able to restore the device data from the prior back-up, but I am afraid to try to sync to Outlook again. Any ideas?
