unable to delete emails

Since late September, most  of my gmail personal email messsages cannot be deleted.  Can see no logic to those that  do delete.  No problems for two previous years and no problem with the business emails under separate name.  Have verified they are not saved.  Have tried usual processes, one by one delete, all prior delete, etc.  Can delete on computer, but still appear on the Blackberry.  (Tour 9630/no new apps or downloads during this time/ pretty basic phone and email usage, and no prior problems relating to this issue.) Have already checked prior entries on this forum.  Either not applicable, or had no impact on the problem.

Re: unable to delete emails

Hello npm and welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.

It sounds like you may need to reset your Messages database.

Backup your device data using BlackBerry® Desktop Software and follow the steps in KB10167 How to clear the user content databases from the BlackBerry smartphone

Before restoring any message data to your BlackBerry, ensure the Gmail emails have been deleted from your device.
