unable to send/received email

hi,  we merge the two email domain and some of the email account were configured in BB 8320.  later bb users were not able to send/received. when we tried updating the existing email account through EMAIL SETTING MENU to change the email server name it open the login screen to pin email account but it return an un-authenticateaccount.
