i wish I could give you some hope....
This response is really more for App World support - the stock answer being given out is not the solution to this.
I've done the uninstall/reinstall countless times, both for the - now 3 - apps that have similar lockups in "My World", as well as all the hard reboots and unistall/reinstall fresh downloads of the App World application being mentioned (the latest version, 18.104.22.168) - all to no avail.I've done this locally on the phone as ewell as through Desktop Manager.
At this point, I can't get eOffice back at all on the phone - which is a major drag, and nothing has changed about the "My World" status bars, even though I went direct to Nickel Buddy for Fierce Towers and they gave me a direct link for a reinstall (which worked). So that one is back on the phone, but the green status bar in My World is still there for the app saying "Starting Download".
It has to be an issue with the way the phone talks to App World, because the lock-ups are happening for more than just a single app.
