unknown symbols

[ Edited ]

reading up from previous posts there seems to be quite a few unknown symbols apearing below the clock on the 9800

might be an idea if they are all posted here as it will help out future users.

first one i had was white smiley face = hangman game loaded

my new one today looks like the brouser symbol but without the arrow around the outside. i did download telmap satnav but ive now deleted it and rebooted but the symbol is still there.

any ideas on this one. thanks

Edit: after searching it at first looked like screenshot had an update but after updating the software the symbel is still there.so its not that.

then i noticed the symbol looks like the Gmail symbol but i have no emails in there.tappting the symbol brings up 3 forthcoming callender events but these are weekly events that were set up back in december and the symbol has only appeared today.

Re: unknown symbols

It's a browser push icon.  One of your apps or email programs is pushing a message to your phone.  It can be a real bugger sometimes trying to find where the message is but that's what your symbol represents.
