Re: wallpaper

Hey Bluebabes,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

Go into Media on the BlackBerry® Torch™ 9810 smartphone and click on Pictures.  Highlight the picture you want and press the menu key and select Set as Wallpaper.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cheers.

Re: wallpaper

Hey thanks so much for the reply but no it didn't work the phone seems to only use tiny pictures but it then blows them up as the wallpaper... But wen it comes to pics that fit my screen awesomely it sets my wallpaper back to default instead.... Is it a bug with the new 9810 maybe?

Re: wallpaper

Hey Bluebabes,

Thanks for the quick reply.

That is very strange!  I would suggest taking a picture with the camera and then try to place it as wallpaper and see if it changes.

What version of BlackBerry® 7 are you currently using?  Type in myver in a message and hit the spacebar to get this information.

I look forward to your reply.

Cheers.

Re: wallpaper

I'm running 7.0.0 bundle 2406 and yes when using the cameras pictures it works fine as a wallpaper I can zoom and set it how I want it seems to be just normal pictures that I get off the net or has been sent to me by friends but I'm sure there must be a way to figure this out...

Re: wallpaper

Hey Bluebabes,

Thanks for providing the software bundle.

On your profile it shows that you're with MTN, if that is true there is an update for the BlackBerry® Torch™ 9810 smartphone to 7.1.0.342.

I would suggest performing this update by going to www.blackberry.com/update from a PC and then test out the wallpaper.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cheers.

Re: wallpaper

Just make sure you create a backup of your data before you begin the process.  Smiley Happy
