I am very new to this and attempted to download it through mobileblackberry.com, then went to weather push, agreed to the terms and conditions and then selected accuweather add. It then sent me to a screen to search for a city and state. After setting the location I selected it to be delivered as browser channel and the frequency as once a day. I then selected subscribe. It said I should see the next update in a day.
I can view the 5 day forecast but there is not an icon on my home screen. Is this correct?
I can try the link you gave but I don't know anything about disabling MDS proxy... Can you give me further info?
Is this just suppose to be a bookmark on the browser?

Yes you should have got an icon on your screen I've posted mine under the post.
If you access by the browser I don't think you have to worry about the MDS proxy.
I didn't go to accuweather and subscribe, this is a free service. I jsut got the OTA
and allowd all permissions, and there was the icon on my screen. If you specified
browser channel, you didn't get the Icon. Here is what it looks like:

When you download it it will ask for permissions allow all, after it's installed press the menu key and options,
that's where you will find the place to disable the MDS proxy. If you use multiple cities, you have to
turn it off in each.
Let me know how it goes!

1. Click on BBWeather to open the application
2. You will get error that says: no weather profiles
3. Click on the trackball and select ok. do not click on the menu button
4. Click the trackball again and it will bring you to the menu
5. Select Options and add a weather profile [the location ID is your zip code]
6. If you are on BIS make sure you check the box to 'disable MDS

Yeah entering the city and state was the bad or missing query.
The program is just looking for the short code.
I sent you the link for the actual weather ID's as I had problems with zip codes.
Other than that, I think you are almost there!
Give the actual weather Id's a chance, I think it will work better.
