Re: who is the sender..?

Yes you're right its not your SMTP server, its use RIM infra to push mails in your blackberry.

Because I have been thru to this issue, where we have restricted most of the users to send mail to Outside domain but they were able to do that using BIS service over a BlackBerry, that time we analyze that BIS use some different SMTP, on which our policies never replicate.

Because during POP3 configuration, we gave full authentication by providing ID and password.

Ok, when I get a mail is the rim service to deliver him to my BB

Maybe i don't understand .. excuse (my english is not well)
I would like to know when I send mail from my blackberry .. who sends them ..??

I ask this because I have problems with mail delivery .. (not receive)

I need to concentrate on my server exchange (to solve the problem) ..? or ask with my ISP (or RIM) ?

Thanks

Re: who is the sender..?

It depends, you are using BIS or BES. If you are using BIS, then better to have words with your carrier & if you are on BES then you have to check this at your end only.

You may check the difference in between BIS and BES from below URL
