wifi

My BB Bold recognizes my home wifi network and when you look under the connections it lists the network and has a green arrow,a yellow lock and says connected. When you go to the home screen the wifi symbol is still gray and it is not on the network. What do I do now?

Re: Re: wifi

The icon stays gray, so I assume I am using 3g when I am surfing

Re: Re: wifi

I am suspicious that it has something to do with the yellow lock icon that appears beside the green check for my home network. The phone picks up other networks and I can surf using wifi with other networks (work, hotel). The BB site doesn't match anything if you search for info about the yellow lock icon. Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: Re: wifi

My Apologies,

I am not well versed in WiFi. I am sure that another user can be of more assistance.

Thanks,
