Jefferyh,
Adobe Reader should be on your home page. The PB comes with it installed and I don't think it is possible to uninstall it.

same here, too.

However, it does appear in my AppWorld > MyWorld under installed applications.

Re: Adobe reader on playbook

Swipe from side to side works if you advance the page counter which you get by a top and bottom swipe. For example if you have a 50 page document and you advance the page counter bar to page 10 then by side swiping you can scroll through ten pages and then you have to advance the page bar to scroll through more pages. Not simple and not intuitive. I have been practicing on the playbook manual..

Re: Adobe reader on playbook

In my case when I tap the Adobe Reader icon it opens a screen showing recent files all of which have the. pdf extension. If you open File Manager it will show all your files but you will only be able to open the. pdf files.
Does this help?

Re: Adobe reader on playbook

Try doing a reboot on your Playbook. Tap the battery icon, tap restart. Then check the Adobe files again.

Re: Adobe reader on playbook

I have a similar issue. the adobe pdf screen is blank on openning a pdf attachment and I now have to go to file manager to find the file. Before when I opened a pdf attachment it opened in the adobe pdf program and I did not have to go through file manager. Rebooting does not solve this issue.

Just remember to backup all you data before reinstalling the OS. Otherwise you may lose it.
