App World Not Opening

Since the last upgrade to OS2 I have been unable to open App World. Can someone advise me how to reload the OS or how to roll back to the previous release?

Thanks

Re: App World Not Opening

Have you first tried simply restarting your PlayBook? Touch the upper right battery icon > Restart.

After the restart, try AppWorld again.

Re: App World Not Opening

Yes. This has been a problem since the upgrade in september and my playbook has been restarted and soft/hard booted a plenty since then.

It just doesn't want to open. Hit the icon and it looks like it's about to load (the transition begins) but aborts and throws me back to home screen or whichever other app might be running.

Re: App World Not Opening

Yes I'm on wifi.

It seems to be a fault with the download of the OS. App World simply hasn't opened since the last upgrade. Hence me needing to downgrade or re-install...

Since you can not downgrade, you maybe looking at using the debricking process

Re: App World Not Opening

But would the debricking provess lose me my data or sideloaded apps? I don't mind going through with it as long as I don't lose everything...

The debricking process brings the Playbook back to the factory settings, so before you do this I would recommend that you backup the Playbook first as every thing on it will be deleted
