App World

I got a PB from Singapore, and cant get SA apps like news 24 or 5fm when i search on my device. Does it have a default location ? Which excludes SA ?

Have you checked online in AppWorld to make sure that these apps appear on the PlayBook?

I've just searched for them and can't find them.

would it be fair to say that some APPS are not avail on PB and Bold ?

Apps that are available on the Bold may not be available on the PlayBook.

That's the most accurate way I can put it.

However, RIM have said that an update in summer will allow PlayBooks to run BlackBerry smartphone apps.

Right now, you will only see apps for the PlayBook and BlackBerry phones if the app developer has written both versions. Poynt is a good example of this.
