BES Routing

Here is a question i have in regards to BES / PB / BB

I have a website i cannot get to on my PB but i can get to it via Bold no prob - the website has internal route to "DMZ" but since Bold is on BES it can get to it as the route is on the BES Server (in the OS as opposed to in BES itself)

However the PB cannot get to it - i have tech support investigating and combing the logs - however i have some further questions here

First: is there any app / support tool that i can run a tracert (and other network diag tools) - to see how the data actually travels

Second: how does BES know to route traffice externally vs internall

Reason i ask the second question is - whatismyip.com shows that my ip is external - which is obvioussly the case as i am not internally managing the DHCP (or any ip assignment at all) - so it is a VPN of sorts - so where can i configure the parameters of VPN - add routing parameters etc...?

Thank you!
