Blackberry Playbook set-up paused at Country ID.... Please help

I just bought the PB, considering that it would be the only Blackberry device capable of upgrading to OS10.

 

Thing is that the County ID drop list is empty, thus I cannot complete the registration. PlEASE HELP!

are you up on a wireless network?? You need to be on wireless to do the setup

yes, I am sitting right next to one and surrounded by another 4. I have tried all 5, however the list of countries which i should select from to complete the aggreement is complete empty? I also drove to a mall to try alternative Wifi networks and still no luck?

What country are you in? What language did you pick?  You may be in an unsupported region for political reasons.
