If you left it on standby all night it may have run flat. Standby on a Playbook is not much more than a screen sleep, everything else including mail and wifi is running. You must either leave it in standby on charge overnight, or turned right off.
Put it on charge.
To switch on, press the on button. Leave it a while before trying though.

I have tryed that, i left it on charge all night last night and then again this morning, nothing.
i have it bridged to my blackberry too and my blackberry flashes blue light when it is linked up and the light is still flashing so the playbook must be on. When my playbook has ran out of battery in the past or ive turned it off the blue light stops flashing.
Its litterally brand new aswell so its quite annoying that its already having problems.
